Dear Parents and Families,
Welcome to the 2014-2015 school year! My name is Tiffany Hall. I will be your child’s math & Science teacher. Mrs. Maxey will be your child’s Language Arts and Reading teacher. We are all looking forward to a school year that is “WILD and fun”!
This is my first year teaching at James E. Bacon Elementary School, but my fourth year teaching 4th grade Math. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Valdosta State University. I earned my Master’s degree at Armstrong Atlantic State University, and I am currently pursuing my Specialist Degree in Teacher Leadership at Valdosta State University. I live in Wayne County. Some of my hobbies include crafts, swimming, and spending time with my wonderful husband and three-year old daughter.
I am very excited to be teaching your child. I plan to use different teaching strategies and methods to encourage your child to succeed and stay motivated and on task. Math is very important and used in everyday life. It is important that you encourage your child to do their very best in Math, as well. I am excited to use interactive notebooks and hands-on experiments in Science this year as well! I will keep you informed of the work your child will be doing, as well as any special events going on at our school and in our classroom. With your help and active interest, we will all have a wonderful and productive year!
Please feel free to contact me with any concerns that you may have this school year. This is going to be a great school year and I thank you in advance for your help in making this year a success!
